Celebrating the 50th anniversary of dormitory No. 2

On October 16, a solemn event was held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the male dormitory No. 2. To the loud sounds of fanfare, the esteemed presenters came out and shared this holiday with us, the birthday of the building, which has become a home for many students, the birthday of a warm home, a native threshold, which every year welcomes students into its affectionate embrace. The esteemed administration, namely Belikov S.B., Ivanchenko A.V. and Dubina V.M., congratulated the residents of the dormitory and all guests on this wonderful anniversary: ​​«Gogol’s 70… this address will forever remain with you, friends, because this house has given you many new, pleasant, loyal friends, unforgettable happy moments…». As you know, it was in dormitory No. 2 that the rector of the Faculty of Transport, Kozyrev V.F., once lived and even took part in its construction. The new dormitory administrator, O.A. Matkovsky, who took up his position only 2 months ago, also congratulated us. Today, on this wonderful, bright, warm, beautiful day, the dormitory was presented with certificates for beds, a tennis table, a billiard table, and even a TV. Recently, there was a contest called «The Best Room,» the results of which were solemnly announced by Garik Moroz. The residents of room #426 took third place, the guys from room #210 took second place, for which they were presented with a water purification filter, and the winners were the guys from room #539, for which they received an iron. An award ceremony was held for the winners of various weight categories in the «bench press» nomination. The guys received certificates and gifts. After the official part, the organizers pleased those present with a festive concert. The audience was captivated by the charming girls of the vocal ensemble «Viva» with their beautiful, strong, beautiful voices. They added a little warmth, smiles and joy to this incredibly bright, important day. The KVN team «Zaporizhzhia Vector-Machine ZNTU» gave us the opportunity to prolong our lives as is customary among the people – with laughter. The talented team constantly made the guests explode with new and new portions of emotions that filled our souls. We were lucky enough to hear Garik Moroz playing the accordion – the minutes of the sound of magical notes were etched in everyone’s heart. Those present listened attentively to the gentle melody that, like crystal water, was spilling around. Ruslan Adonai – a former resident of the hostel performed a song accompanied by a guitar. The beautiful words, deep meaning, and velvety voice made us think about what we heard. It was truly incredibly beautiful and magical.

We ended the holiday with a cheerful song «С Днём Рождения» performed by the girls of the singing ensemble «Вива». We wished everyone good luck, peace, and goodness. Thank you for such a warm and pleasant celebration of the 50th anniversary, thank you to all the guests, organizers, administration, and dormitory employees. Once again, congratulations on the holiday!!!
