Opening of the new season of the Closed League of KVN for the ZNTU Rector’s Cup

On March 13 at 18:00, the Festival of the Closed League of KVN for the ZNTU Rector’s Cup was held in the Shevchenko Sports Complex. 8 teams from various faculties of our university took part in the solemn event.

The host, addressing the packed hall, announced that the following teams are participating in the Cup: «Transformers» (TF), «RP-Duchess» (FRET), «Without a Cat and a Bad Life» (GF), «Kroshki UFKS» (UFKS), «Sbornaya ETF» (ETF), «Golova ne bolit» (FRET), «Mysly vsluh» (FEU), «Knights of the Sea» (MF). The honorary jury this evening was composed of: the head of the trade union committee of students of ZNTU Andriy Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko, the director of the Center for Culture and Leisure of ZNTU Viktoriya Volodymyrovna Kominova, the editor of the Open Zaporizhzhia League of KVN Anatolii Ostapenko, as well as the members of the KVN team «Zaporozhsky vector – Machine – ZNTU» Darya Bilotserkovets and Gleb Zaitsev. The competition of cheerful and quick-witted Serhii Borisovich Belikov opened with his traditional speech. As always, he remembered everything, and also congratulated the beautiful half on the past International Women’s Day. The final touch before the performances was the announcement of some new tournament rules. In short, now on the way to the finals all teams will always play to score as many points as possible and get into the top four, which will get into the finals. Also, the evaluation system has received a new criterion – the audience award. In my opinion, these innovations will provide a very positive impetus, since now the intrigue will be maintained longer due to a larger constant number of participants.

So, the teams started performing. There was everything: hip-hop songs, mini-scenes about «traffic cops», «short jokes» about everyday life, dances, topical mockery of decommunization, intellectual jokes about different layers of society, and much more. After all the teams had performed, Andriy Ivanchenko announced that the so-called «bonus points» were awarded to «Without a Cat and a Bad Life» (0.2), «Knights of Humor» (0.2), and «Team ETF» (0.2). (0.6).

Still, the audience had the opportunity to notice some imperfections in the students’ preparation, so the next round can only inspire new heights for both us and our cheerful and resourceful ones.
