Opening of the Training Center «Information Technologies of Electronic Systems» at the Iskra KP

At the beginning of this academic year, on the initiative of the department of information technologies of electronic means, together with the department of information technologies of KP NVK «Iskra», the center of information technologies of electronic systems of the faculty of radio electronics and telecommunications was opened. The center will hold students’ classes in the following areas: modern technologies for designing three-dimensional models of electronic device structures; modeling of physical processes in electronics; electronic design and technological document flow; modern automated systems for managing the life cycle of electronic devices. The company’s specialists will acquaint the students with the methods of automating the construction and technological design of the KP NVK «Iskra». The center’s computer class is equipped with modern computer equipment with specialized software: SEARCH, CADMECH from INTERMESH and AutoCAD, Inventor from Autodesk. Students have the opportunity to gain in-depth professionally oriented knowledge under the guidance of experienced teachers and leading specialists of the enterprise.

On September 29, 2017, at the ceremonial opening of the educational center, a cooperation agreement was signed by Oleksandr Volodymyrovych Kuznetsov, the head of the information technology department of KP NVK «Iskra» and Professor Piza Dmytro Makarovich, vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and issues of the university’s development prospects. The dean of the Faculty of Radio Electronics and Telecommunications V. S. Kabak, the head of the Department of Information Technologies of Electronic Devices H. M. Shilo also took part in the solemn event. and teachers E.K. Areshkin, T.I. Kulyaba, Yu.A. Lopatka, I.E. Pospeeva, O.Yu. Farafonov, and N.I. Furmanova, as well as ITEZ department graduates I.S. Presnyak, who for many years headed the enterprise and provided support to the university, and E.O. Zubenko, a young specialist who currently works in the information technology department.

The first class for students of specialty 172 «Telecommunications and radio engineering» was conducted by the head of the CAD bureau of the information technology department Vinnikov Kostyantyn Oleksiyovych.
