Good start. Setting goals and achieving them

Thanks to the center for promoting the employment of students and graduates of ZNTU, on October 11, 2017, students of our university had the opportunity to attend the training «Building a job search strategy», which took place within the walls of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Profi Center.

Hospitably welcoming, the representative of the center – Tetyana Valeryivna started the training. First, students got to know each other with the help of a communicative game. It was noticeable that some had a hard time completing this task, while others took to the game with ease. The next task was even more interesting: «What are your goals and what do you plan to do if you have 20 years left to live?» First of all, it is difficult to imagine, but the students coped with this task. It is interesting that someone did not have enough paper, and someone wrote several sentences.

The main issue of this training: «Setting goals and their achievement in building a career». Students asked questions to the lecturer, analyzed situations, expressed their opinion on how to go about their goals.

Trainings of this type are very important and interesting for a person to acquire such competencies and skills that would allow him to get the desired position or workplace in the shortest possible time. Each participant of the training had the opportunity to find out in detail and simulate the steps of his personal goal and to form an effective job search plan.
