The opening of the Club of Accountants at the Department of Accounting and Taxation, the Faculty of Economics and Management took place at Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University

Rector of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University Belikov Serhiy Borisovych delivered a congratulatory speech on the occasion of the opening of the Accountants’ Club.

Topic of the first meeting: «Overview of changes to the provisions of the Tax Code of Ukraine based on draft law No. 1210». The head of the Oleksandriv Department of the Department of Internal Affairs and Communications in Zaporizhzhia Dmytro Serhiyev, Deputy Chief Accountant for Foreign Economic Activities of the «GofroTrade» enterprise Nataliia Serhiyivna Gotovkina were invited to the meeting.

The meeting was opened by the head of the Club of Accountants, head of the Department of Accounting and Taxation, Olena Hermanivna Lyshchenko. The meeting was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Vladyslav Vasylovich Korolkov, scientific and pedagogical staff and students of the «Accounting and Taxation» specialty, and scientific and pedagogical staff of other specialties.

The launch of the Accountants Club is another event in preparation for the 120th anniversary of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic University. This event practically involves employers, the State Tax Service, the Central Intelligence Agency as stakeholders in the educational process. According to the results of the discussion at the club meetings, it is possible to include new disciplines of the student’s choice in the curricula, to update the training programs of the disciplines, and to expand the practice bases. Such interaction illuminates the needs of employers, there is an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with them on a contractual basis. This cooperation enriches all participants of meetings of the Accountants’ Club.
