Participation of a ZNTU student in the International Scientific and Practical Conference «ICCUBITO 2013»

On June 18-19, the 1st International Scientific and Practical Conference «Cooperation between Universities and Enterprises in the Field of IT Outsourcing (ICCUBITO 2013)» was held in Kharkiv within the framework of the Tempus-IHSITOP project, aimed at the development of IT outsourcing in Ukraine, the training of highly qualified outsourcing specialists by Ukrainian universities, and the consideration of various methods and opportunities for university-enterprise partnerships. The key point of the conference – opening of the Outsourcing Educational Research and Production Center (OSTPC).

The event took place in the main building of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics.

For 2 days, the conference participants combined theory and practice: they listened to reports from guests and project participants and took part in trainings and discussions.

After arriving in Kharkiv, registration and a ceremonial welcome, the official opening of the OSTPC center took place.

Among the participants of the first section (which was dedicated to the possibilities of practical cooperation between enterprises and the university, and how university IT outsourcing can be developed today), Olha Mykolaivna Gladkova, a student from ZNTU, a student of the KNT-418m group, spoke on the topic of the report «Information technologies in outsourcing personnel training». The report was made at a high level. The student’s article was published in the journal based on the materials of the conference «Radioelectronics & informatics».

Also at the conference, all participants took part in the practical training «Developing a WEB site on your own», where they were informed about the methods of creating a high-quality site, its components, and each participant, under the guidance of a university specialist, developed their own site using WordPress technology.
