In which ZNTU dormitory do they play volleyball better?
A marathon of sports competitions among residents of ZNTU campus dormitories is underway. On December 4 and 5, 2017, competitions were held among students living in ZNTU dormitories for the campus volleyball cup. Representatives of dormitories No. 2, 3, 4, 5 and No. ZETK took part. Unfortunately, there were no volleyball teams in the ZKR ZNTU dormitory. The Student Council of Dormitory No. 2, which organized these competitions, accepted applications for participation from 11 teams: 8 men’s and 3 women’s.
To the delight of both participants and fans, the tournament turned out to be exciting and unexpected, the fans went crazy from the unexpected turns in the teams’ game. It was interesting to watch the spark in the eyes of the players who fought for victory. In the fierce semi-final, the teams of dormitories No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 came together.
According to the results of the competition of the best of the best, the organizing committee and all participants congratulated the men’s team «Illegals» (dormitory No. 2) and the girls’ team «Dynamo» (dormitory No. 3) with a convincing victory.
The following took the honorable prizes: among the men’s teams: second place – «Pride Energy» (dormitory No. 2), third place – «Feeechki Winks» (dormitory No. 3); among the girls’ teams: second place – «Leaders» (dormitory No. 2), third place – «Flash» (team of dormitories No. 2, 3 and 4).
The Student Council of Dormitory No. 2 thanks the Department of «Physical Education, Olympic and Non-Olympic Sports», namely the Head of the Department Atamanyuk Svitlana Ivanivna and Senior Lecturer Lutsenko Serhiy Heorhiyovych for their assistance and help in holding the tournament, the Directorate of the University Campus and the Trade Union Committee of Students, Postgraduates and Doctoral Students of ZNTU for their assistance in organizing prizes and gifts for the winners and prize-winners of the tournament.
