The conditions in the ZKR ZNTU dormitory have improved!
On May 22, 2013, in order to improve living conditions in the ZKR ZNTU dormitory, a washing machine was put into operation, which was installed on the third floor in the utility room.
Students living in the ZKR ZNTU dormitory were very happy about this news, because they were wasting a lot of time not on completing academic work, but on ironing their personal laundry. Another advantage of installing the washing machine was that the dormitory is home to students from remote areas, who find it very difficult to carry their things home every two Sundays to iron.
In just one day, it seems that the dormitory began to breathe again, because the students rushed to quickly wash their clothes. The washing machine worked non-stop, because the line for ironing seemed endless.
A second-year student of GF-922 Shkolova Yuliia, who lives in room 804-1, noted: «Of course, the dormitory has now begun to come to life – a lot of pleasant changes. Over the past six months, we have seen that work on improving conditions is really underway. What the ZNTU student union promised us to do, namely: the Internet, a dormitory access system – a turnstile, a new kitchen, and the installation of a washing machine – is already working. Thanks to the installation of the washing machine, you can now devote more time to completing your studies, and you don’t have to take large suitcases home full of things.
Vitalii Grebennikov, a third-year student of M-120, shared his impressions: “I have been living in this dormitory for a year in room 302-2. I really want to say a big thank you to the student union committee and the campus administration for taking care of our dormitory. This year, repairs were made to section 302 and the internet was installed. And today, they also installed a washing machine. I was third in line. As a guy, this made the task much easier for me; now I don’t have to run to the girls on the eighth floor for a basin to wash, but just go out to the utility room, load the machine, and continue doing my personal business. This is really cool!».
We thank the student union and the campus administration for the real improvement of living conditions in the ZKR ZNTU dormitory, and we hope for further improvements!
