Tourist results of the year

On December 9, 2016, a tourist evening was held in the assembly hall of ZNTU, which gathered more than 300 tourists from all over the city. In the first section of the evening, films were shown about extreme trips of Zaporizhzhia tourists in 2016 in the Carpathians, Israel, Tajikistan, Iceland, Nepal, Kazakhstan and Bhutan. All films are beautiful in their own way, bring the viewer the energy of a journey, call to distant lands. The new large screen of the assembly hall multiplies the feeling of watching. We should especially note the film about a mountain hike in the Fan Mountains (Tajikistan) by a group of ZNTU graduates under the leadership of Ihor Deribas. The group conquered more than ten passes and peaks, visited the place of death in 1981 of a group of media tourists led by Valerii Vashchenko.

Ihor Sanzharevskyi – a graduate of «Mashinka», at one time head of the «Romantic» media tour club – showed his film about a trip to the kingdom of Bhutan. He and his wife are probably the only Zaporozhians who visited this mysterious, insanely beautiful country in the Himalayas on the border of India and China.

At the beginning of the evening, those present honored the memory of Viktor Velyky – a graduate of «Mashinka», candidate of technical sciences, deputy director of the design and technological department – head of the experimental and technological department of OJSC «Motor Sich», deputy of the Zaporizhzhia city council, chairman of the permanent commission on social and economic development, budget and finance. In tourism, Viktor Velikiy is the head of the Tourist Club of the Media (ZNTU) «Romantyk» in 1978-1979, master of sports of the USSR in mountain tourism, leader of a number of complex tourist expeditions. And Viktor is the author of the anthem of the «Romantic» tour club, a guitarist, a participant in many tourist evenings of ZNTU.

And in the second section of the evening there was a concert of a bardic song under the «code» name «… For dreams» by a creative team led by Tetyana Prybyl, consisting of Volodymyr Antonov, Anna Hayduk, Serhiy Ignatiev, Mykola Isayev, Hennadii Kaplan, Yuri Kulbaka, Tetyana Prybyl, Mykhailo Troepolsky, Olha and Tetyana Chikalovy, Oleksandr Shelar and Mykhailo Shcherbakov. Artists and spectators noted the high quality of the acoustics in the new hall.

And another fact. During the evening, a stack of letters with a list of ZNTU specialties was easily distributed – so there is a chance that the children and grandchildren of today’s tourists will continue these evenings.
