Tourist holiday at ZNTU
It is well known that student life is not only about studying, but also about having fun with friends. Students and teachers of «Mashinka» have various hobbies. One of them is hiking. And every year, a kind of report on the tourist events of the year is held in the ZNTU assembly hall. This year, this report took place on December 13 and was accompanied by a musical concert.
The number of places visited by our tourists is impressive – Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh (by bicycle), Nepal, Kamchatka, rafting on Ka-Khem, Ai-Petri, Altai and Kuril Lake. And all this in 2013 alone. The peculiarity of these meetings is that tourists do not just tell about the places they visited, but demonstrate what they saw in amateur films.
All the video films differed from each other in the nature of the presentation, and the theme, and the «actor» composition, and the genre, and most importantly – the places. The pictures and landscapes on the screen simply beckoned the viewer to visit them. The beauty of these places attracted with its magnetism and in my mind I wanted to escape from the gas-filled Zaporizhzhia and spend the rest of my life there.
Of course, this kind of event is for amateurs, some watch from the sidelines with delight and interest, while others – Seeing the boundlessness of places they have never been to before, they decide to join the cheerful and noisy family of tourists in order to also take an active part in exploring different worlds and cultures.
The audience also had the opportunity to hear live music, to absorb the energy of real, soulful music. Many ensembles and performers of original songs (after all, this is precisely the genre of music that tourists like – what could be better than a song with a guitar by a campfire?) delighted the audience. The Ensemble «Unheard of Profit», an ensemble led by Olia Chekalova, as well as a guest from the USA Joshua Lanz, visited ZNTU.
The tourist evening left behind only a good, slightly dreamy mood, because the goal of the evening was to encourage people to an active lifestyle, to show that the world is full of interesting things and beautiful places, and most importantly, it is impossible to fully experience them from the window of a bus or a fashionable hotel.
