Awarding ceremony of sportsmen of ZNTU
On May 21, in the assembly hall of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, an award ceremony was held for our athletes, among whom were both students and teachers.
The ceremony was started by the rector of «Mashynka» Serhiy Borisovych Belikov. He noted that our university adequately contributes to the physical development of students. After that, the deans and the collective basketball team of the Faculty of Humanities were awarded.
Continuing the series of speeches, the microphone was handed over to Andrii Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko, who expressed his pride that ZNTU has such purposeful individuals.
It’s time for our students’ team awards. This most honorable part began with the ZNTU-ZAS handball club. Serhii Borisovych again made a speech in which he recalled the old days (when this club competed at the all-Soviet level) and the significant year 97, in which the team’s activities were resumed. Then the players and the coach were given sweet prizes. Sports aerobics teams were also awarded, which will take part in the World Championship in the future. S.B. Belikov was awarded for his contribution to the sports development of ZNTU, the shot put team, mini-football, chess, checkers, kettlebell sports, table tennis (bronze from the Championship of Ukraine), water sports, athletics, volleyball, basketball.
Teachers who distinguished themselves in swimming, sports aerobics, futsal, volleyball, table tennis were also awarded.
During the pauses between the awards, aerobics teams performed rhythmic dances, the girls, vocalists of the Viva studio sang twice, and a 9-year-old representative of the Phoenix People’s Theater performed with her velvet dance. It should also be noted the aerobic performance of children under the auspices of Oksana Plyusch.
