Award Ceremony for the Winners of the XVI Student Paper Competition for the Delcam Prize

On May 17, the residence of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Great Britain to Ukraine hosted a ceremony to award the winners of the annual Delcam Prize competition. The award ceremony was attended by the Deputy Head of Mission Helen Fayzie, who in her speech emphasized the importance of holding such competitions among students of higher education institutions and the prospects for cooperation between Great Britain and Ukraine in the field of engineering. Hugh Humphreys, Rector of ZNTU Serhiy Belikov and Director of the CAD Center (Authorized Dealer of Delcam Ltd in Ukraine) Oleh Borisenko also delivered welcoming remarks. Head of the main training center «ZNTU-Delcam» Vitaliy Klymenko presented the works that won prizes.

This year, the competition was held among students, schoolchildren and school teachers. In the student works nomination, the first place was taken by the work of the master of the department «Metal-cutting machines and tools» of ZNTU Dmytro Burya (supervisor: Klymenko V.Yu.). Among school teachers, the first place was taken by the work of Denys Tomilin (Kryvyi Rih gymnasium No. 95). In the school works nomination, the first place was won by the work of Kristina Erturk and Svitlana Kushnirenko (Odesa Private Specialized School of I – III Degrees «Harmony», project manager Kuvshinova E. V.).
