Awarding ceremony of the winners of the XV International Student Competition «Delcam»

On March 30, 2015, the annual awarding ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the Delcam name award competition was held at the residence of the British ambassador to Ukraine. The event was organized by the Main Educational Center «ZNTU-Delcam» together with Delcam LTD and the residence of the Ambassador of Great Britain to Ukraine.

The award ceremony was attended by Simon Smith, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain to Ukraine, Delcam company founder Hugh Humphreys, Delcam European Region Director Sandy Moffat, rectors of higher technical educational institutions, students – winners of the competition and their supervisors, winners and participants of the «ArtCAM for Schools» competition.

At the official part, the ambassador congratulated all the participants of the ceremony, thanked the project organizers for close and fruitful cooperation with Ukrainian universities, and also presented diplomas and valuable prizes to the winners. The senior lecturer of the «Metal Cutting Machines and Tools» department received a diploma from ZNTU, Vitaliy Klymenko, as the leader of the competition work, which won the fourth place among the competition works.

The second award for ZNTU was received by Dmytro Buria, Master of the Department of Metal Cutting Machines and Tools, for the first place among Ukrainian universities in the 2014-2015 Global CAM University Competition (development of control programs for CNC machine tools).

The ZNTU delegation was headed by ZNTU rector Serhiy Borisovich Belikov.
