Training of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University and the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
On March 20, 2019, we invite scientific and pedagogical staff of state and private HEIs to participate in a training to train experts in ensuring the quality of higher education.
Within the framework of the projects «Formation of a network of experts in ensuring the quality of higher education» and «New accreditation system as a means of ensuring quality and overcoming corruption in higher education», which are implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Center for Higher Education Research (Czech Republic) and the Charitable Foundation «Institute for the Development of Education», the selection and training of trainers for the training of experts in the quality of higher education in Ukraine took place. Associate Professor of ZNTU, Head of the Trade Union Bureau of the Faculty of Advanced Vocational Education and Training of ZNTU Skuybida O.L. is the only trainer for training experts in quality assurance of higher education in Zaporizhzhia.
We invite scientific and pedagogical staff of ZNTU (profile vice-rectors, representatives of education quality assurance departments, directors of institutes, deans, heads of departments, guarantors of educational programs, leading teachers) of the Zaporizhzhia region to take part in the training for training experts in quality assurance of higher education. The training is organized by Zaporizhzhia National Technical University together with the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The purpose of the training is to create and develop a national network of experts in quality assurance of higher education. The training will take place on March 20, 2019 at Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, from 9:30 to 17:00. Participation in the training is free.
The training program includes: regulatory and legal principles of the national system of quality assurance of higher education; accreditation, framework and rating mechanisms for assessing the quality of higher education; practice and main trends of quality assurance systems; ensuring the principles of academic integrity; participation of students as key stakeholders in the internal quality assurance system; development of leadership potential of HEIs. The training includes lectures, workshops, and panel discussions.
To participate, candidates must send an email (subject – Competition), attaching the following documents in Ukrainian:
– resume, which, among other things, must contain a photo, teaching experience in higher education, experience/knowledge in the field of quality assurance in higher education, information about participation in international projects and internships, a list of publications (Scopus, Web of Science), as well as the level of English proficiency;
– motivation letter.
Documents are accepted until March 10, 2019 to the mailbox eskuybeda@gmail.com.
The selection of participants will be carried out from March 11 to 13, 2019. based on the analysis of submitted documents and interviews (by phone).
After completing the training, participants will receive a certificate from Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, and will also have the opportunity to receive an expert/advanced qualification certificate from the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
