Thematic online meeting “Children’s and Youth Scientific University in the system of career guidance work of the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” and the Kharkiv National Economic University named after S. Kuznets”
On June 4, a thematic online meeting was held to exchange experience in career guidance work on the topic: “Children’s and Youth Scientific University in the system of career guidance work of the National University “Zaporizhzhya Polytechnic” and the Kharkiv National Economic University named after. S. Kuznets”
The event brought together representatives of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University and the Semyon Kuznets KhNEU to discuss effective approaches to professional self-determination of youth and involvement of schoolchildren in scientific and educational activities.
The Vice-Rector of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University, Andriy Ivanchenko, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of systematic career guidance activities, the development of partnerships between higher education institutions, and the creation of conditions for a conscious professional choice of young people.
The Director of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic Children’s and Youth Scientific University, Olena Nazarova, presented the history creation and main areas of activity of DUNE. The participants got acquainted with the work of legal, financial, IT and STEM circles, the activities of the Center for Gifted Youth, the START-UP School, as well as educational and scientific events that contribute to the formation of professional interests of students.
Representatives of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University joined the discussion: Director of the Educational and Scientific Center “Zaporizhzhya Regional Center of Polytechnic Education” Tetyana Solovyova, Director of the Zaporizhia Cluster “Engineering – Automation – Mechanical Engineering” Andriy Karpenko, Dean of the Faculty of Law Yuriy Filey, leaders of the circles Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal, Civil and International Law Olga Shiyan and Associate Professors of the Department of Accounting and Finance Iryna Maksymenko and Viktoriya Babenko-Levada.
Representatives of the Semyon Kuznets KhNEU presented their own experience in career guidance work and the project “Children’s and Youth Scientific University of the Semyon Kuznets KhNEU”, which became the basis for professional dialogue and exchange of successful practices.
The conference participants noted the importance of inter-university cooperation in the development of a modern career guidance ecosystem that helps young people consciously choose their future profession, reveal their own potential, and build a trajectory of professional growth.
