Talents of Dormitory No. 3

On November 14, a unique competition under the charming name «Constellation of Talents» was held in the women’s dormitory No. 3. The student activists decided to kill «three birds with one stone» and celebrate two more holidays this evening: International Student Day and the 113th anniversary of the founding of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University. The former red corner, now a bright and spacious hall for discovering student talents, welcomed the guests with a friendly atmosphere – Student Self-Government Center of Dormitory No. 3.

Residents of dormitories No. 2, No. 4 and the dormitory of the Zaporizhzhia College of Radio Electronics came to support the participants, as well as honored guests and a part-time jury: ZNTU rector Serhiy Borisovich Belikov, vice-rector for educational and pedagogical work and student education Serhiy Timofiyovych Yarimbash, chairman of the trade union committee of students, graduate students and doctoral students Andriy Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko and director of the campus Vadym Mykolayovych Dubyna. The participants competed in two nominations: «Voice of the Dormitory» and «Only Girls in Dances». The performances of the participants impressed with their dynamism, uniqueness and originality, which delighted everyone present. Each number caused a storm of emotions and a flurry of applause. Mostly lyrical and incendiary songs, rhythmic dances performed to the accompaniment of an acoustic guitar prevailed.

While the winners were being determined, the most active members of the student council and floor leaders were congratulated on the holiday by the rector and the head of the trade union committee, presenting them with certificates for active public activity.

The guys from the aikido section and the sports and ballroom dance team of the Student Self-Government Center of Dormitory No. 3 also congratulated all participants and guests with their performances. The event ended with the awarding of the best contestants in both categories and the presentation of memorable prizes.

The Student Council of Dormitory No. 3 expresses its gratitude to the Trade Union Committee of Students, Postgraduate and Doctoral Students of ZNTU and the campus administration for their support and assistance in organizing the holiday.
