Synergy of Tempus projects CERES and ECOTESY
On May 22, 2015, ZNTU held a meeting dedicated to finding effective ways to solve problems to achieve the main goals of the CERES and ECOTESY Tempus projects implemented at our university. The lecturers of the departments of software tools and aircraft engine technology, who are the executors of the projects, discussed common issues and tasks related to the implementation of the latest technologies in the field of education and science. In addition to the teachers, the students of the PZ department also took part in the meeting, for whom an excursion to the TAD department was organized.
The participants of the meeting noted that the level of cooperation between young scientists and representatives of enterprises of different forms of ownership in the region is insufficient. Therefore, the development of web platforms for cooperation between various companies (potential employers), educational institutions and young scientists (potential performers) capable of solving scientific and practical problems that arise at enterprises is relevant.
Lecturers of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor S. O. Subbotin and Associate Professor A. O. Oliynyk, reported on the progress of the international project «Centers of Excellence for young RESearchers» (CERES) of the «Tempus» program of the European Commission (registration number 544137-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-SK-TEMPUS-JPHES), the main goal of which is to improve the conditions for conducting research by young by scientists in accordance with the research and innovation concept and the implementation of the partnership program between enterprises and universities from EU countries, Belarus and Ukraine. As a result of the project, a web portal was developed for organizing the work and interaction of enterprises and young scientists in conducting scientific research. The development and implementation of such a portal will help the practical implementation of scientific ideas of young scientists, the transfer of knowledge between company representatives and scientists, as well as the search for potential customers and executors of scientific projects.
Associate Professor of the Department of Aircraft Engine Technology D. V. Pavlenko spoke about the creation of a single vertically integrated complex system of innovative development of the technosphere of ecosystems with a full cycle (study – research – production – operation/maintenance – disposal), which is implemented as part of the international project «Interregional Network for Innovative Development of Ecosystems Technosphere» (ECOTESY) of the «Tempus» program (registration number 544498-TEMPUS-2013-SE-TEMPUS-JPHES). The development of such a system will allow implementing a fundamentally new approach to environmental safety planning for all objects of the technosphere at all stages of the life cycle. A synergistic effect will be achieved with the results of Tempus projects in the field of green technologies and innovation support.
The meeting participants agreed on future cooperation on the implementation of Tempus projects and dissemination of their results in the form of seminars, conferences, trainings and meetings with representatives of regional enterprises. The participation of university employees in the implementation of projects of the «Tempus» program of the European Commission will allow to introduce modern European methods and innovative pedagogical technologies into the educational process, increase the effectiveness of training of specialists of various specialties, obtain new modern equipment, bring the scientific research of young scientists closer to the practical needs of enterprises, combining education, science and production into a single triangle of knowledge.
