The world of philosophy

reads lectures and conducts practical classes for everyone who is interested in philosophy and wants to understand more deeply what is happening in the modern world, in the language of philosophy.

This initiative (on a free basis) of the Department of Philosophy of ZNTU is aimed at popularizing within the walls of the native higher technical educational institution and among its students, graduate students, teachers and all those who wish philosophical knowledge and philosophical culture of thinking.

Philosophical knowledge is taught in universities – from the time of their emergence in the Middle Ages to today. In the history of mankind, philosophy skillfully quenched the thirst for knowledge, adequately responded to the intellectual inquiries of a cultured (educated) person, successfully responded to the challenges posed to it by man, society, and the world.

The modern world and the life of a modern person is another such challenge and another response to it by philosophy.

We invite everyone who is hungry for new knowledge, who wants to use his arguments to create facts in the world around him, who wants, just as once «together with Sancho Panza, his donkey got into literature», with the help of philosophy, to make the world pay attention to his own presence.

The program of classes will not be rigidly established in advance, but, on the contrary, will be oriented to the interests and choices of the audience – various topics from the vast subject field of philosophy will be organically involved in the consideration (be it the philosophy of science / technology / God / economy / love / death / laughter / drinking wine and anything else).
