Dormitory No. 2 ZNTU Celebration!
On October 14, Dormitory No. 2 ZNTU celebrated its 51st anniversary, and on this occasion, the dormitory student council organized a large-scale festive event called «Obshchaga 50+1». The celebration gathered not only all its residents, but also representatives of the campus in the courtyard of the male dormitory «Mashinki». The ceremony was not overlooked by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Valerii Oleksiyovych Baranov, the rector of ZNTU, Serhiy Borisovich Belikov, and the head of the trade union committee of ZNTU students, Andriy Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko, who sincerely congratulated all those present on the anniversary of the dormitory, and also awarded its most active representatives with valuable gifts and certificates.
The celebration also included the awarding of participants and, of course, winners of the ZNTU campus autumn volleyball cup, the final of which, as we recall, was held on October 9 in the «Mashinky» sports complex.
As usual, at the celebration, gifted students living in the second dormitory showed their talents to the audience: Anton Kopotiy demonstrated his virtuoso playing on the electric guitar, Artem Kryvokorytov sang a song soulfully, the creative tandem of Maksym Kartinin and Harry Moroz gave an unprecedented aesthetic pleasure with his playing, combining a sensual saxophone and a sincere accordion.
The girls from the vocal studio «Viva» and the «Youth KVN Team» of ZNTU also congratulated the residents with their performance.
In addition, the head of the student council of the birthday dormitory Dmytro Kapustyan took care of active entertainment-competitions for the residents. Representatives of different floors determined who in the «dormitory» was the strongest and fastest, by tug-of-war and relay. In the first competition, the team from the 4th floor became the absolute winner, and in the second, the 2nd.
The solemn part ended with a performance by the special forces unit «Shield». With their clear, confident movements, the boys and girls of the unit surprised and delighted the eyewitnesses, confirming their proud title.
We thank the student council of dormitory No. 2 for the initiative in organizing events that not only give new impressions and good emotions, but also unite. And we thank the trade union committee of ZNTU students and the Center for Culture and Leisure of ZNTU students for supporting such aspirations. Also, thanks to all participants of the event for their activity and to the spectators for their attention and dedication!
