Festive week of ZNTU!
The whole week Zaporizhzhia National Technical University celebrated solemn, festive events! Let’s go back 7 days and remember what a great time we had!
On November 17, we celebrated International Student Day! A general uplifted mood, a sea of congratulations and surprises became the calling card of this day! In addition, on the initiative of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, a solemn awarding ceremony for the best students of our region was held in the Zaporizhzhia Regional Puppet Theater. As part of the celebration, the winners of the regional competition «Student of the Year – 2015» were recognized, including our youth:
«Student – Artist of the Year» – Glib Kyrylovych Zaitsev, a 2nd-year student of the Master’s program at the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Technologies of ZNTU;
«Student – sportsman of the year» – Viktoriya Yuriyvna Kesar, a 5th-year student of the «specialist» OKR of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports Management of ZNTU;
«The best student of the year of a higher educational institution of the I-II levels of accreditation» – Yuliana Igorivna Migur, a 4th-year student of the Zaporizhzhia Electrical Engineering College of ZNTU.
Congratulations to the best students of our native region, we wish them to maintain their proud title in every possible way!
On the evening of November 17, a festive trip to the cinema was waiting for the youth, which was timed to the student holiday by the family and youth affairs committee of Zaporizhzhia city council. In the cinema named after O.P. During Dovzhenka, we watched the film «Steve Jobs» (USA, 2015), and the most active students of Zaporizhzhia also received diplomas from the Zaporizhzhia City Council for their achievements in various areas of student life.
On November 18, a solemn meeting of «Mashynkov» residents with representatives of the administration of our higher education institution took place. Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and education of students Serhiy Tymofiyovych Yarimbash and chairman of the trade union committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students Andriy Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko congratulated the student activity of ZNTU and also awarded the youth with certificates of honor.
The evening of November 18 was just a fairy tale for Zaporizhzhia National Technical University! After all, a truly unique and rare event took place – a festive student masquerade ball! A stunning and extremely beautiful event took place just in the assembly hall of ZNTU! Everything was here: a traditional waltz, contests with surprises, awarding of an asset, determination of the king and queen of the ball, unveiling of the best mask and costume, as well as charismatic MCs, fiery DJs, bright photos, lots of music and dancing.
November 19 is the most significant day in the life of our educational institution. It was on this day, 115 years ago, that the technical alma mater of Zaporizhzhia (Aleksandrivskyi) region was founded! The 19th is a red day in the calendar for all those who connected their lives with the good «Mashinka», the great Zaporizhzhia National Technical University. So on November 19, ZNTU had a weekend off, celebrating his birthday.
However, the night from November 19 to 20 was unforgettable for students! We celebrated the solemn date at the ZNTU Birthday Party at the CROWBAR nightclub! A hot event, busy hours, unpredictable contests, the best MC and DJ team, beautiful people, music, dancing, photos until the morning – top class!
And already on November 20, to the day of the foundation of the university and technical education in the Zaporizhzhia region, a solemn meeting of the Scientific Council of ZNTU took place in the Zaporizhzhia Music and Drama Theater named after V.G. Magara, where teachers, employees and students of our university were invited, as well as guests of honor – friends and «children» of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University. The bright event was remembered by many kind words, wishes for the future, gifts and awards! The Zaporizhzhia National Technical University was honored, personally the Rector of ZNTU Serhii Borisovych Belikov, representatives of the higher education administration, our teachers and students. This was followed by a spectacular concert for the participants of the celebration.
The press service of the trade union committee of students of ZNTU congratulates the teachers, students and employees of ZNTU on the International Student Day and the 115th anniversary of the founding of ZNTU and technical education in Zaporizhzhia (Aleksandrivsk) region! Thank you to the organizers and participants of the festive events for an unforgettable week, rich and bright days!
