Saturday cleaning!
On April 25, 2015, we were pleased not only with good, sunny weather, but also with the wonderful transformation of our native Zaporizhzhia into a clean, blooming corner! The fact is that a series of Saturday marchers passed through the city, in which, of course, students of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University took an active part.
From the very morning, the «Mashinkivtsi», armed with the necessary equipment and gloves, went to such facilities as «Zaporizka Children’s Railway», the park on Sovietskaya Square, the park near BC named after Kirova, the beach near the «Auchan» hypermarket, and they have established an undisputed order there!
The traditional Saturday night at the «Children’s Railway» was lively and very fun. Amazing nature and good company inspired successful work. Students cleaned up garbage, dry branches, dug up flower beds, and then went together to visit the inhabitants of the «railway»: animals, birds, fish, and take a ride on the train, remembering their childhood.
Saturdays were also successful in other places – the park on Sovietanska Square, the park near BC named after Kirova, beach near Auchan hypermarket. Our youth worked in the fresh air to glory, with benefit for themselves and others. After all, it is always nice to observe cleanliness and order.
It should also be noted that the beach near the Aushan hypermarket was cleaned by ZNTU students as part of the All-Ukrainian campaign «Let’s make Ukraine clean».
So, thank you to all the participants of the Sabbath for their contribution to the well-being of their hometown! Thanks to your work, the surroundings have become beautiful and cozy!
