ZNTU students support the cleanliness of the city
On October 11, at 4 p.m., a subbotnik was held in the square opposite the Regional Puppet Theater, organized by the joint efforts of «Zaporizhzhia Vector» and the trade union committee of ZNTU students.
Such events have been supported for the second year in a row by the student government and the administration of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University.
Our students were happy to take part in the subbotnik. Because they often spend their free time in this square and understand that maintaining cleanliness in our hometown is very important and necessary.
The «Zaporizhzhia Vector» organization took care of the event. Free tea and coffee were poured for everyone who came, and gloves for cleaning and shovels with rakes were distributed. All that depended on us was to simply come and spend our time with pleasure and benefit.
The head of the expert and analytical center, Doctor of Law, Professor Serhiy Valeriyovych Petkov, reported that from now on this square is under the care of the public organization «Zaporizhzhia Vector». Serhii Valerievich himself took part in the subbotnik with pleasure (in the photo).
Doctor of Philosophy Glazunov Volodymyr Vladimirovich noted that it is worth restoring the best traditions of Soviet times and establishing a European attitude towards the environment among young people and society as a whole.
Also, a particularly diligent participant was awarded a gift certificate from MaxTaxi for free training at a driving school!
It is worth noting that from now on there is a free Wi-Fi zone in the park, which everyone can use, provided that they keep it clean.
Therefore, a special thank you to the student government and the administration of ZNTU for organizing student leisure and instilling in us a love for the environment.
