ZNTU students at the Kyiv conference within the framework of the international BEST organization

From September 8 to 11, representatives of the BEST organization at Zaporizhzhia National Technical University attended a student conference organized by the BEST Local Group at the I.Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. Our students (Digtyarenko Vladislav, Popova Oksana, Lashchenkova Alina and Hubar Kristyna) exchanged their experience with members of the BEST local branches in Kyiv, Lviv, Vinnytsia and Košice (Slovakia). The purpose of this event was to prepare the branch management to fulfill their duties.

Result of the conference:

– 4 hours of discussions;

– 30 hours of training;

– 4 experienced trainers from different European countries;

– 15 hours of sleep in three days;

– 3 days of immersion in an English-speaking environment;

– an incredible amount of fun and cultural exchange between centers.

During the conference, participants had the opportunity to attend trainings to improve their communication skills.

The following topics were covered:

– structure of the international BEST;

– communication and proper performance evaluation;

– process of effective organization and management of meetings;

– dynamics of team development;

– leadership and management of management;

– creative approach to problem solving;

– change implementation process;

– strategic planning;

– knowledge transfer and storage process;

– conflict resolution in the team;

– motivation of organization members.

Having received a charge of knowledge, motivation and inspiration, the new management of BEST Zaporizhzhia is ready to accept any challenge to change the life of the center for the better and provide new opportunities for the comprehensive development of our «Mashinkivtsi».
