Student Valentine’s Day!
In the middle of February, when spring is very close, all lovers celebrate Valentine’s Day. Someone likes to spend this day only with the two of them, and the Zaporizhian student body, as always, approached the celebration on a grand scale and creatively!
The celebration began on February 13 at the «JUNO» night club. The student activity of our region gathered here, as well as distinguished guests, including the head of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Nataliya Vlasova and the rector of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University Serhiy Belikov, who cordially congratulated everyone on Valentine’s Day. Those present watched an interesting concert, where dancers, singers and cheerful and smart people from the native team «Zaporizhsky vector – Mashinka – ZNTU» delighted them with their skill. Those who wished took part in interesting contests and fiery dances.
After that, the young people were waiting for festive events in the KZ named after Dovzhenka On February 13, the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Zaporizhzhia City Council organized for them a viewing of the premiere screening of the romantic comedy «Unreal Love», which became a wonderful addition to the pre-holiday evening.
And already on February 14, from the very morning, the celebration moved to the Zaporizhzhia City Council. Here, the students congratulated our mayor Oleksandr Chensanovich Sin, presenting him with a huge valentine from the ardent hearts of all higher education institutions and sincerely thanking him for his support.
By the way, the Professional Committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students of ZNTU took a direct active part in the organization of the holiday. Together with the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, we organized a concert in the city hall, where the festive mood was supported by our collective team of KVN «Zaporizhik vector – Mashinka – ZNTU», our girls – participants of the «Viva» studio sang, and the unique presenters Dmytro Shendryk, Anastasiia Trebukhova and Yurii Murashkovskiy raffled off interesting prizes in the quiz.
And then the students of «Mashinka» went to share the holiday with all universities of their native Zaporizhzhia. We went on the so-called «Love Bus» along the route: Zaporizhzhia State Medical University – Zaporizhzhia National University – Zaporizhzhia National Technical University – Classical Private University – Zaporizhzhia State Engineering Academy – Zaporizhzhia Institute of Economics and Information Technologies.
It was hot at every stop! After all, the bright and passionate Dmytro Shendryk and Yurii Murashkovskiy did not let me be sad for a moment. They held a number of contests and a quiz with prizes, and also registered everyone who wanted to in a humorous marriage. Having announced dozens of happy «newlyweds» in all corners of the native city and leaving an unforgettable impression, the «Love Bus» left to definitely return next year.
So, we thank the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, our Professional Committee of ZNTU students, as well as the Center for Culture and Leisure of ZNTU students for happy moments and bright impressions!
