Student Valentine’s Day!
In mid-February, when spring is almost here, all lovers celebrate Valentine’s Day. Some people like to spend this day alone, and Zaporizhzhia students, as always, approached the celebration on a large scale and creatively!
The celebration began on February 13 at the nightclub «JUNO». The student activists of our region gathered here, as well as distinguished guests, including the head of the Department of Youth and Sports of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Nataliia Vlasova and the rector of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University Serhiy Belikov, who cordially congratulated everyone on Valentine’s Day. Those present watched an interesting concert, where dancers, singers and cheerful and clever people from the native team «Zaporizhzhia Vector – Machine – ZNTU» delighted them with their skill. Those who wanted to took part in interesting contests and incendiary dances.
Then the young people were waiting for festive events at the Dovzhenko College. On February 13, the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Zaporizhzhia City Council organized for them a premiere screening of the romantic comedy «Unreal Love», which became a wonderful addition to the pre-holiday evening.
And on February 14, from the very morning, the celebration moved to the Zaporizhzhia City Council. Here, students congratulated our mayor Oleksandr Chensanovich Sin, presenting him with a huge valentine from the ardent hearts of all higher educational institutions and sincerely thanking him for his support.
By the way, the Trade Union Committee of Students, Postgraduate Students and Doctoral Students of ZNTU took a direct active part in organizing the holiday. Together with the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, we organized a concert at the city hall, where the festive mood was supported by our KVN team «Zaporizhzhia Vector – Machine – ZNTU», our girls – participants of the studio «Viva» sang, and the unique presenters Dmytro Shendryk, Anastasiia Trebukhova and Yurii Murashkovskyi gave away interesting prizes in a quiz.
And then the students of «Mashynka» went to share the holiday with all the universities of their native Zaporizhzhia. We set off on the so-called «Love Bus» along the route: Zaporizhzhia State Medical University – Zaporizhzhia National University – Zaporizhzhia National Technical University – Classical Private University – Zaporizhzhia State Engineering Academy – Zaporizhzhia Institute of Economics and Information Technologies.
It was hot at every stop! After all, the bright and incendiary Dmytro Shendryk and Yurii Murashkovsky did not let us be bored for a minute. They held a number of competitions and a quiz with prizes, and also registered everyone who wanted to join in a mock marriage. Having declared dozens of happy «newlyweds» in all corners of his hometown and leaving unforgettable impressions, the «Love Bus» left to definitely return next year.
So, thank you to the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, our Trade Union of ZNTU students, as well as the Center for Culture and Leisure of ZNTU students for happy moments and vivid impressions!
