Sports holiday

On May 21, 2018, a sports evening was held in the ZNTU sports complex, dedicated to summing up the results of sports competitions and achievements of university students.

The celebration was attended by the rector, deans of faculties, teachers, trainers and honored guests. Rector of ZNTU S.B. Belikov, head of the department of FKONVS S.I. Atamanyuk, head of the Student Professional Committee A.V. Ivanchenko conducted the awarding ceremony of the prize-winners of the student sports day among the faculties responsible for sports and mass work, national sports teams, graduates, athletes of individual sports.

Teachers and trainers of the university were awarded diplomas of the Zaporizhzhia regional branch of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine, the Department of Sports, Family and Youth of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, the student trade union committee and the teachers’ trade union committee. The president of the regional basketball federation presented commemorative souvenirs to the graduates of the ZNTU basketball team. ZNTU-ZAS handball team players were presented with certificates of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine by Rector of ZNTU S.B. Belikov and Chairman of the Board of PJSC «ZAS» A.M. Antonenko. Demonstration numbers were performed by: the national team of Ukraine in sports aerobics, finalists of the World Games, bronze medalists of the European Championship, representative of the club «Motor-Sich» Milana Zhuravlyova, record holder of Ukraine in power juggling V. Yarovy and juniors of the ZNTU sports club in sports aerobics.
