«Cooperation between the Department of Marketing of ZNTU and the Zaporizhzhia Regional Charitable Fund »Smile of a Child«
Approaching New Year’s holidays and Christmas for many of us is a good opportunity to give gifts and communicate in the family circle. And how to be someone who does not have such an opportunity. How do those who are too young to have their own family feel, but their parents have abandoned them and do not pay any attention to them?
On the initiative of the head Department of Marketing Lyfar V.V. The management of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Charitable Foundation »Smile of a Child« and marketing students of the 1st-5th year of ZNTU held a meeting, the purpose of which was to acquaint students with the activities of the foundation and to involve students in the charitable and volunteer activities of the foundation.
The meeting took place in an atmosphere of dialogue. Interested students received meaningful answers to questions. From the position of her own experience, the speaker – the curator of the project Viktoriya Valeriyivna Veselkova focused the attention of the listeners on the specifics of working with children. She introduced the students to the current achievements, to the activities that are planned to be held during December: visiting boarding schools and orphanages, helping children write letters of wishes to Santa Claus, storing them and realizing the most cherished children’s dreams.
Given how many students responded to the appeal of the »Smile of a Child” Foundation, it can be assumed that the main goal of the meeting was achieved – the desire to help those who need this help was ignited in the hearts of young people. Today’s youth perfectly understand the current economic troubles, but they do not want to stay away from the problems of orphanhood. Almost 30 students of different courses expressed their desire to help in a good cause, giving up their free time, participating in meetings with children, giving away books, toys, and things.
We hope that this meeting will develop into a fruitful partnership and make the lives of orphans a little brighter.
