Sports Games of Teachers and Employees of ZNTU
According to the plan of sports and mass events of the ZNTU sports club and with the support of the university rector and the trade union committee, on March 22-23, 2017, the Sports Games among teachers and employees «For Vigor and Health» were held in the ZNTU sports complex.
The program of the sports games competitions consisted of 4 sports: volleyball, table tennis, chess and shot put. The competition was judged by teachers of the FKONVS department.
Teams from 8 faculties and the Institute of Management and Law took part in the competitions.
In the volleyball competitions, the following teams became prize-winners and winners:
1st place – Faculty of Economics and Management
II place – Institute of Management and Law
III place – Faculty of Electrical Engineering
In the table tennis competition, bronze awards were won by the team of the Faculty of Radio Engineering and Telecommunications. Silver awards were won by the Faculty of Computer Science and Technology.

In the individual competition, the best player in the first racket was recognized as the senior lecturer of the FKONVS department S.O. Motuza. The best player in the second racket was the lecturer of the FKONVS department Y.I. Dudnik.
The best player in the women’s racket was recognized as the senior lecturer of the UFKS department I.A. Cherednychenko. In the nomination «For the will to win» Associate Professor of the Faculty of Humanities O.M. Pozlo was awarded.
In the chess competition, the team of the Institute of Management and Law took 3rd place. The team of the Faculty of Humanities took 2nd place. The team of the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Technologies became the winners of the competition.
In the individual competition, the best player on the 1st board was recognized as the associate professor of the Department of International Economic Relations A.I. Meleshchenko. The best player on the 2nd board was the dean of the Faculty of CST M.M. Kasyan. The best player on the women’s board was the associate professor of the Department of Computer Systems and Networks M.Yu. Tyagunov.
In the shot put competition, the team of the Faculty of Engineering and Physics took 3rd place, the team of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering took 2nd place. The team of the Faculty of Economics and Management became the champion in shot put.
The best result in the individual shot put competition among men was shown by V.V. Vasylevsky, an engineer of the 1st category of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Devices.
Among women, the 1st place was shared by I.M. Karavska, a leading specialist of the Department of Marketing, and T.O. Akrytova – laboratory assistant of the Department of Equipment and Technologies of Welding Production.
The Dean of the Faculty of Transport O.F. Kuzkin took an active part in the volleyball competitions. In the chess competitions, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management V.V. Korolkov, the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Technologies M.M. Kasyan, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Physics E.I. Ivakhnenko represented their faculty.
For active participation in various types of the Spartakiad and the popularization of oriental martial arts among student youth, the Associate Professor of the Department of Software S.M. Serdyuk was awarded.
In the general team standings, the team of the Faculty of Engineering and Physics took 3rd place, and the Faculty of Computer Sciences and Technologies won silver medals.
The winners of the Spartakiad were: the team of the Faculty of Economics and Management.
For active participation in the competitions, all teams and prize-winners in sports were awarded prizes. The winners in the individual sports competition were awarded with souvenirs from the ZNTU Prof. Union.
