Laughter is a great power
On Tuesday, October 31, another stage of the «Battle of Universities» took place, in which students of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University also took part. This time, the teams of higher educational institutions competed in what no person can live without – humor. The assembly hall of the Zaporizhzhia State Engineering Academy hosted the teams.
The following teams took part in the competition: «No boyfriend» from the Zaporizhzhia National University, the ZDIA team, «Zaporizhsky obraz zhizni» from the Zaporizhzhia State Medical University, and of course our favorites – «Zaporizhsky vector – Mashinka – ZNTU»
Unfortunately, the competition turned out to be short. For some reason, the organizers left only two competitions – business card and STEM. The whole event lasted an hour, but this hour was filled with laughter, interesting jokes and a unique atmosphere that only happens at KVN games. The participants are not professionals, but I would like to acknowledge their efforts. Although their acting skills were not the best, they tried and still played their roles at the highest level. Sometimes it seemed to me that I really found myself at a factory where the boss was knocked down by a column, or in a Disney fairy tale where something went wrong…
The teams were judged by people who are directly familiar with humor and student life. Vitaliy Goncharenko, a member of the «Zainka» team and the hero of the comedy series «Patsyky», was a pleasant surprise among the judges.
The only thing that surprised, and even disappointed, was the rather strange refereeing. The results were, to put it mildly, controversial. Well, the «Battle of the Universities» is surprising not for the first time! Unfortunately, our team took second place! Well, still – a great result!
Not only comedians, but also their support teams excelled at these competitions. Loud, cheerful and sincerely cheering for their teams – this is how they were remembered by the audience. ZNTU students were especially loud, they were easy to spot because all the back rows were wearing blue caps with the initials of the university.
The main thing is not the victory, the main thing is the emotions, the student holiday, which the teams definitely gave us!
