«School» unites again

The new academic year is starting, and the trade union committee of students of ZNTU is glad to prepare its assets for fruitful work. From August 22 to 24, in a picturesque corner near Zaporizhzhia – OC «Mayak», Vilnoandriivka – the already traditional III School of trade union activity of ZNTU – 2016 was held.

Students’ union active in 12 teams and the organizing committee came together again to deepen their knowledge and skills, compete in sports and intellectual activities and have a good time in passionate company. Representatives of various courses and faculties of our university and its structural divisions took part in the event: the main condition for selection was an active role in the trade union life of ZNTU.

The School of Trade Union Actives – 2016 was solemnly opened by the head of the trade union committee of students of ZNTU Andrii Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko. And the competition started!

The first test was an introduction to the teams, which took place in the form of original business cards, a wall paper presentation and a video about the trade union life of the participants. Then, having strengthened themselves with dinner and loosening up a bit at the evening disco, the «schoolchildren» immersed themselves in the atmosphere of a driving quest. OK «Mayak» this night was filled with mysteries, surprises and adventures as never before. But the darkness and frantic pace still did not prevent our lively participants from fulfilling all the tasks of the organizers and successfully reaching the finish line.

The morning started with charging. Having warmed up their muscles well, the young people set out to conquer sports peaks. Competitions in volleyball, table tennis and streetball were held with a bang, bringing a lot of emotions. And again a surprise from the organizers: this year, for the first time, the team members changed places, and already in the new composition they had to not only create a friendly team, but also prepare a presentation on the topic of the trade union for the plenary meeting. Also, the new teams got to participate in a whole kaleidoscope of subfests: mafia, jenga, training and master class, water battle, dance battle, «What? Where? When». Fortunately, the «schoolchildren» were able not only to find a common language, but also to make friends and show decent results.

The conclusion of the III School was a plenary meeting, where we worked together on the most important issues regarding the trade union, gained new knowledge and energy for the new year of work.

Thank you to the trade union committee of students of ZNTU for the development events, where you can combine a great rest with studies, as well as to all the teams for their participation. We once again proved that we know how to combine the pleasant with the useful. Together we are strength!
