What’s so funny about that?

Despite the fact that the beginning of December is a time of tests and exams, on December 7 and 8, students and teachers of our university gathered in the assembly hall in anticipation of the 1/4 finals of the ZNTU Rector’s Cup in KVN. I remind you that from now on, all teams will always play on the way to the semi-finals to score as many points as possible and get into the top four, which will play in the final. Also, the evaluation system has received a new criterion – the audience’s choice prize, where each viewer casts their vote for the team they like.

Well, on the first evening, the audience was surprised by four teams: «Tutti» (FRET), «Golub» (FSN), «Baunty» (IF) and «Сборная ЭТФ и Полешко» (ETF). The first competition, as always, was «Greetings», where the teams demonstrated their excellent preparation for the competition, because each had its own special scene or the main feature of the number.

After the end of the block, the host invited all the teams to the stage and announced the «Warm-up» competition, in which the jury members asked the participants questions on free topics. For it, teams could receive a maximum of 6 points. According to the results of the first quarter-final on December 7, the leader was the team «Golub» (FSN).

There was also a competition «5 jokes about…», where the team captains joked on one of their chosen topics.

The second evening was no less eventful and interesting, because four more dynamic teams gathered on the stage: «Vne zakona» (YuF), «Salo» (TF), «Pyatnitsa» (MF) and «Sbornaya EGI». The participants surprised everyone with everything they could! On stage there are not only jokes, songs and dances, but also pouring mayonnaise! All this can be observed only in «Mashintsa»!

According to the results of two games, the team – «Salo» (TF) is still in first place.

All participants gave the audience a portion of good jokes, which allowed them to forget about the session for a few hours. We hope that the semi-final will be no less colorful, which will take place in the spring! We wish the teams creative inspiration!
