Implementation of the Erasmus+ KA1 academic mobility program in 2017-2018 academic year

Implementation of the Erasmus+ KA1 academic mobility program in 2017-2018 academic year

The Erasmus+ KA1 academic mobility program allows teachers and students of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University to gain experience in intercultural communication both at universities in Europe and at home, hosting teachers from Belgium, Germany, Romania, Spain, and Austria.

In the fall semester of 2017-2018 academic year, ZNTU students Oleksandr Kurtov (IF-312m) and Vladislav Starikov (M-122m) and a graduate student of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology Nataliia Chernovol studied at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium). Since February 2018, Serhiy Yechin, a postgraduate student of the Department of Metal Pressure Processing, has been conducting research at the De Najer Campus (Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium).

Currently, at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Dortmund (Germany), masters of the Department of Software Tools Mykyta Kanafotsky (KNT-413m) and Anastasiia Berezhna (KNT-713m) are studying in the spring semester. A student of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Devices, Serhiy Vetrov (E-413m), received a grant for studies in the spring semester at the Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany).

It is very pleasant to receive positive feedback about the high level of training of our students, who after completing their studies receive offers to continue cooperation as graduate students and engineers in research laboratories of European universities.

A condition for receiving a grant for teaching mobility is to hold 8 hours of lectures for students at the host university.

In the fall semester, students of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, thanks to the Erasmus+ KA1 program, had the opportunity to listen to lectures by Prof. P. Arras (Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium), Prof. H.-D. Wuttke (Technical University of Ilmenau, Germany) (https://zp.edu.ua/?q=node/6705), Carsten Wolff (University of Applied Sciences, Dortmund, Germany) (https://zp.edu.ua/?q=node/6794).

ZNTU participated in the International Days of Campus de Nayer (Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium) with the participation of Professor of the Department of Software G.V. Tabunshchyk and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology A. Germashev ( https://iiw.kuleuven.be/denayer/international-days/sprekers/ ). Professor of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Devices M.O. Polyakov and Associate Professor of the Department of Software A.V. Parkhomenko gave lectures to students of the Technical University of Ilmenau (Germany). Teachers highly appreciate the experience of teaching in multinational groups of students.
