Implementation of academic mobility of teachers and students of ZNTU

Zaporizhzhia National Technical University actively participates in international educational and research projects. One of the achievements of 2015 was receiving a grant under the Erasmus+ program: credit mobility for teachers and students.

Cooperation for mutual exchange of students and teachers and administrative staff became possible on the basis of an interinstitutional agreement between the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven) and ZNTU with the support of the rector of ZNTU, Prof. S.B. Belikov.

Within the framework of credit mobility, master’s and postgraduate students submit a set of documents for studying/internship at the campuses of KU Leuven, which should total 30 credits per semester (6 months). The list of disciplines available in English at the De Nayer campus can be found in the attached document FET_technologycampus_De_Nayer_Course_offer_English_2016_2017 [pdf, 221.32 KB].

The pioneers were third-year graduate students Mark Kuchugurov and Anton Germashev (supervisor Yu.M. Vnukov), who received a grant for academic mobility from November 1, 2015. The tasks of the graduate students are, in accordance with the topic of their dissertation research, to conduct joint tests  under the leadership of Prof. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering   Bert Lawrence, conducting scientific seminars, visiting university laboratories, preparing joint scientific works.

Three university students received a grant and began studying at the De Nair campus on February 1, 2016 as part of the program, who, in addition to studying, are conducting research as part of their master’s thesis:

The program is valid until July 2017.
