Together for the future of the youth of Zaporizhzhia

Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University and the Institution of Extracurricular Education «House of Children’s and Youth Creativity of the Zavodsky District» of the Zaporizhzhia City Council signed a memorandum of cooperation that opens up new opportunities for the development of children and youth of the Zaporizhzhia region.

The partnership is aimed at developing STEM education, supporting the creative, scientific and engineering potential of the younger generation, as well as creating conditions for their professional self-determination. Within the framework of cooperation, the parties plan to implement joint educational, scientific, career guidance and entertainment events that will help children and adolescents discover new horizons of knowledge, develop modern competencies and implement their own ideas.

A significant part of this interaction is already successfully implemented through the activities of the Children and Youth Scientific University of the Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic National University, headed by Director Olena Nazarova. Previous experience in holding joint events, master classes and career guidance initiatives has confirmed the effectiveness of such a partnership and the interest of young people. These developments will become a reliable foundation for further expansion of cooperation, implementation of new educational opportunities and creation of an environment in which every child can reveal his or her potential.

A symbolic moment of the meeting was the presentation of a bereginya doll to the rector of the university, Viktor Gresht, presented by the director of the House of Children’s and Youth Creativity, Maryna Mamonova. Bereginya is a symbol of protection, unity of generations, preservation of traditions and faith in a happy future. This gift became the personification of a common desire to educate talented, creative and successful youth who will develop the Zaporizhzhia region and Ukraine.

Combining the efforts of higher education institutions and extracurricular activities is an important step towards the formation of an effective educational ecosystem that will contribute to the preservation and development of the human potential of the Zaporizhzhia region. We are convinced that this cooperation will become the basis for new successful projects, interesting initiatives and opportunities for young people who will create the future of our region!
