The Council of Employers and Entrepreneurs of the Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University is a platform for developing partnerships between the university, business and the entrepreneurial community, as well as supporting initiatives in the areas of education, employment and innovative development of the region.
On September 23, 2025, Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University held its first Council meeting aimed at establishing effective cooperation between the university, employers and entrepreneurs on issues of dual education, employment and career development of graduates, as well as implementation of joint research in solving current business problems.
The meeting was opened by Viktor Greshta, Rector of Zaporizhia Polytechnic National University. Our goal is to unite the efforts of the university, business and employers in a powerful partnership. We strive for cooperation to turn into an effective platform for real change, capable of quickly responding to market challenges, creating innovative business solutions, supporting and implementing new trends in higher education, and contributing to the formation of a competitive graduate.
Reports were made by:
Alona Stadnyk, head of the Department of Prospective Development, Licensing, Accreditation and Quality of Education, emphasized the importance of cooperation between education and business with the motto: “Whoever invests in education invests in his own success.”
Aleksandr Kaplienko, the coordinator of dual training, presented the strategy of introducing a dual form of education at the enterprises of the region.
Ruslan Kulikovsky, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, spoke about the development of human capital and increasing the attractiveness of graduates for employers.
Maria Pavlenko, head of the project department, outlined opportunities for business and science interaction within the Council.
Marina Zinchenko, the head of the Center for Promotion of Employment of Students and Graduates, identified wide opportunities for professional development of students and partnership with employers.
Snizhanna Vychuzhanina, head of the student research department, emphasized the importance of supporting the start-up movement and shaping the worldview of students regarding the attractiveness of regional enterprises.
The meeting participants emphasized that close cooperation between the university, business and community will ensure the training of highly qualified specialists, the development of the economic potential of the region and the creation of a stable future for Zaporizhzhia and the region.
