Goodbye 113, hello 114

113 years – a solid age. Our university has already held many events dedicated to the 113th anniversary of ZNTU – a talent contest, awards for college students and teachers, and awarding certificates to students – laureates of the mayor’s scholarship. The celebration on the occasion of the anniversary of Mashinka continued at the solemn conference of the ZNTU workforce, which took place on November 29 in the university’s assembly hall.

Traditionally, the conference was opened by ZNTU Rector Serhiy Borisovich Belikov with his speech, in which he greeted the teachers, students, and honored guests present in the hall. And there were quite a few guests. The solemn holiday was attended by the Deputy Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Gamov A.M., the deputy of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, the secretary of the permanent commission on humanitarian issues Grozovsky I.M. and the mayor of Zaporizhzhia Oleksandr Chensanovich Sin. The latter noted:

«…I, as a mayor, want to wish you ambition, because it is ambition that often is the driving force that leads to success. Be not the university that keeps up with the times, but the one that is a few steps ahead.»

Many words of welcome were also said at the holiday. The machine was also greeted by other honored guests – Head of the Department of Youth, Physical Culture and Sports of the Regional State Administration Vlasova N.F., Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine Hryn N.I., Representatives of DTEK (Donetsk) and JSC «Motor Sich». Distinguished guests presented certificates of honor to teachers and students of ZNTU for their fruitful work during 2013.

Creative groups invited to the celebration diluted the official atmosphere. Friends of the university, vocalists Oksana Radchenko and Dmytro Ivanov, the pop dance studio «Phoenix» under the leadership of Snizhana Lobodiuk, the KVK team «RP Duchess» also delighted the audience with their incendiary cha-cha-cha. At the end of the holiday, the rector conveyed congratulations from the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Dmytro Volodymyrovych Tabachnyk.

Sergiy Borysovych announced the beginning of preparations for the solemn and loud celebration of the 115th anniversary of ZNTU.
