«It will grow like a flower through the asphalt»: serviceman Nadiya of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the patriotic upbringing of youth«

For Defender of the Fatherland Day, the marketing and logistics department invited to the university a person who is directly related to such a solemn holiday. If it weren’t for the military uniform, or the advertisement, no one would have guessed that this thin, short girl is a serviceman of the Military Forces of Ukraine with the call sign »Professor«, who has repeatedly visited the ATO zone with a humanitarian and journalistic mission since she was a student. And after graduation, she decided to devote herself to military service.

Nadiya was officially invited to participate in the international conference with a topical report »Logistics chains of delivery of humanitarian goods to the ATO zone«. The head of the department Lyfar Vladyslava Vitalyivna, despite the lack of formal signs of a scientist in Nadiya, assessed the expediency of such a topical topic precisely within the framework of the conference theme »Generating innovations for inclusive development”. The decision turned out to be very successful: the report interested and touched all those present. The guest was warmly introduced by the Director of the Economic and Humanitarian Institute Gudz Petro Vasyliovych. And the head of the organizing committee of the conference, Emiliya Vasylivna Prushkivska, brought tears to her eyes without exaggeration with her closing speech.

But in addition to a very interesting report at the conference, on the initiative of the scientific library, in particular Fedko Nataliia Ivanivna, a meeting of Nadiya with students and employees of ZNTU took place. The hall could not accommodate everyone. Of course, representatives of the Faculty of Economics and Management came to support the guests of the Department of Marketing and Logistics. But, in addition to them, the head of the Department of Journalism Pogrebna Viktoriya Leonidivna sent students – future journalists. After all, who, if not journalists, can cover such painful topics.

And Kateryna Serhiyivna Bondarchuk, associate professor of the Department of Ukrainian Studies and General Language Training, finally asked Nadia how to instill patriotism in young people. Nadia answered: patriotism lives in everyone’s heart, otherwise our independent state would not have emerged. And it will grow in everyone sooner or later. Like a flower through the asphalt.
