The UKR IEE Project «Implementation of the standard of energy management systems in the industry of Ukraine» continues
September 17-18 at Zaporizhzhia, Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, st. Zhukovsky, 64, aud. 253 within the framework of the Project, a seminar will be held for users of energy management systems – specialists of industrial enterprises and service engineering and consulting companies.
Within the framework of cooperation between the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the National Technical University of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» (NTUU «KPI»), the implementation of the UKR IEE Technical Assistance Project «Implementation of the Standard of Energy Management Systems in the Industry of Ukraine» continues, financed by the Global Environmental Foundation (GEF). The project is supported by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine and the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine.
The goal of the Project is the development of market conditions to increase energy efficiency and the implementation of international experience in managing the energy use of energy-intensive industrial enterprises of Ukraine – large, medium and small, as a basis for increasing their competitiveness while ensuring a comprehensive approach to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving the environment. The project is scheduled to be completed by 2019.
