Dedication to students at the Zaporizhzhia Electrotechnical College of ZNTU

So the warm summer days, which were full of various events, have passed, and it is time for a new academic year. So, of course, all educational institutions of our city began solemn concerts for the first of September.

I had the opportunity to attend the dedication of students at the Zaporizhzhia Electrotechnical College of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, which took place on August 29.

Of course, the solemn part of the dedication was attended by the rector of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University Serhiy Borisovich Belikov, the rector, People’s Deputy of Ukraine Mykola Oleksandrovych Frolov, the director of the Zaporizhzhia Electrotechnical College of ZNTU Yevhen Mykolayovych Ryabenko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine Nadiya Ivanivna Gryn, the head of the trade union committee of ZNTU students Andriy Volodymyrovych Ivanchenko, and the teachers who expressed their sincere wishes to the now first-year students, wishing them inspiration and a desire to conquer new and new horizons. The parents also had a word of congratulations: the father – a participant in the fighting in eastern Ukraine, by the way – spoke with congratulations and wished peace and harmony, as well as love for his studies and inspiration. And the students who passed the entrance exams the best were able to congratulate their colleagues and symbolically received the attributes of studenthood: the key to knowledge, a record book and a trade union member’s card. According to the college tradition, after the end of the solemn part, they took flowers to the monument on the Walk of Fame, as a sign of eternal memory of the victory.

It was nice that so many young people still come to the college, which I came to exactly five years ago. And I am sincerely happy for them, because the college is not just recognized as one of the most prestigious in our region, which can be easily understood by the high level of knowledge that students receive.

It should be said that the college is constantly being improved. And this applies not only to repair or conversion. Teachers are improving the methods of teaching their subjects to students, because people are able to remember information in different ways and everyone can find the right approach for themselves.

After asking the teachers about their plans for the near future, I learned that preparations are currently underway for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the college’s founding, preparations for large-scale competitions to be held by ZETK ZNTU, and continuous improvement of work so as to never stand still. I will also note that this year the college accepted more than three hundred students, which is quite a high figure.

So, from the bottom of my heart, I congratulate the students of the Zaporizhzhia Electrical Engineering College of ZNTU and wish you a great desire to learn and enthusiasm to be interested in the path you have chosen!
