Consecration of applicants to students
On August 31, near the main building of Mashinka, a solemn initiation of ZNTU applicants into students took place. Despite the bad weather and cold, the first-timers were cheerful and did not lose their sense of humor. And do you remember your first course?
Like any event, the dedication began with the anthem of Ukraine, performed by the orchestra, and the anthem of «Mashinka» itself. The Rector of the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University – Belikov Serhii Borisovych – began to welcome future students. He talked about how many famous people graduated from this institution, about the prospects after studying at «Mashinka», as well as important details that every student must know. Traditionally, the rector addressed everyone present in Ukrainian and English.
After the Rector’s speech, the representatives of the applicants took the stage and took the student’s oath. Serhiy Borisovych ceremoniously handed them a symbolic student card and a huge «key to knowledge».
Let’s wish the new students of «Mashinka» good luck, success in their studies and great student years!
