Dear scientists! The National Science Center of Poland invites you to participate in the competition for a scholarship to conduct research on its territory for 12 or 24 months. Funding is provided by the Eighth Framework Program of the European Union for the Development of Scientific Research and Technology Horizon 2020 and the Marie Sk?odowska-Curie program.
The POLONEZ project allows researchers to receive funding for 12 or 24 months, to stay in Poland and conduct research on the territory of its scientific institutions. The scholarship can be received by a scientist with a PhD degree (Candidate of Sciences) or who has at least four years of research experience. In addition, he has not lived or carried out his main activity (work, study, etc.) for more than 12 months in Poland in the last three years.
Funding amount.
A scholarship holder on the basis of an employment contract receives:
– 31 500 € in case of a stay for 12 months
– 63 000 € in case of a stay for 24 months;
additionally, the family’s stay is financed:
– 3600 € in case of a stay for 12 months
– 7200 € in the case of a stay of 24 months;
a research grant is provided in the amount of:
in the field of humanities, social sciences and arts:
– PLN 80,000 in the case of a stay of 12 months,
– PLN 96,000 per year in the case of a stay of 24 months;
in the field of life sciences and physical and technical sciences:
– PLN 112,000 in the case of a stay of 12 months,
– PLN 160,000 per year in the case of a stay of 24 months.
The fellow must start research activities no earlier than September 1, 2016 and no later than January 1 2017.
The deadline for submitting applications for participation in the competition is December 15, 2015.
