For our beloved university, the end of October 2017 is a special period. At this very time, «Mashynka» celebrates the 20th anniversary of the appointment of professor Serhiy Borisovich Belikov as rector. On this occasion, a concert was dedicated to the rector, to which distinguished guests of our city and region, Kyiv and abroad were invited.

First, the president of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine Vasyl Hryhorovych Kremin was invited to the stage. After kind words addressed to our University and its head, Belikov was presented by S.B. Order of Volodymyr Monomakh. The head of the Zaporizhzhia regional organization of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine Nadiya Ivanivna Hryny also expressed her congratulations and handed over the award of the Central Committee of the Trade Union «For Social Partnership». The family of Kravchun Stepan Ivanovich, who presented the Museum of the History of Technical Progress of ZNTU with a new exhibit – «ZAZ 965», made a solemn speech.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine V.V. Pokhvalskyi, the head of the Oleksandrovsky district of Zaporizhzhia V.O. Mostoviy, and the legendary personality of Zaporizhzhia Ye.G. Kartashov also spoke with congratulations.

Also, future applicants and students of ZNTU, students of ZOSH No. 88 visited the walls of our university. This is a young KVN team «Brigada UH», which, despite its age, demonstrated a high level of training. The presenter of the holiday – Dmytro Shendryk even noted that schoolchildren can compete with the KVN teams of our university with dignity.

A pleasant gift for the rector was the song «Lavanda», performed by Oksana Radchenko – the head of the vocal studio «Viva», which was even joined by Serhii Borisovych himself! The whole hall sang along!

And what a driving and energetic dance by the ZNTU sports aerobics team! A welcome guest of the holiday was the municipal dance theater, which filled the concert with unforgettable impressions!

A surprise for all those present in the hall was the performance of the STEM «Budylynik» and the KVN-team «Zaporizhik vector — Mashinka — ZNTU» in the first line-up.

But the surprises did not end. Have you ever seen a 16.5 kg cake? Everything is possible in Mashinka! The professional committee of students, postgraduates and doctoral students of ZNTU presented the rector with this huge «goody» with the main body of the «Machines» depicted on it!

Serhii Borisovych gave 20 years to our university. It is difficult to even imagine ZNTU without him, so with great respect and pride we thank our beloved Rector for his conscientious work, and we wish him inspiration, health, and many more years in the walls of his beloved «Mashinka»!
