Semi-final of the Closed League of KVN for the ZNTU Rector’s Cup of the 2016 season

On May 13, at 18:00, the long-awaited semi-final took place, which was held in the «AvtoZAZ» DC. The teams gathered to accumulate smiles from the audience, as well as points from the jury. We would like to remind you that in the current season a system was introduced, according to which points are accumulated after each game, and it is also possible to choose the winner of the audience prize by special voting.

The event started with the «Greetings» round. The audience, without waiting for the announcement of the teams, recognized familiar faces: «Transformers» (TF), «RP-Duchess» (FRET), «Without a cat and life is bad» (GF), «Team ETF» (ETF), «Head does not hurt» (FRET), «Thoughts aloud» (FEU), Knights of humor (MF).

The next stage – «Warm-up» – continued to warm up the attendees. Participants demonstrated ingenuity and sharp intelligence. According to the results of the round, the team «Knights of Humor» got a slight advantage over «Transformers».

The next task was simple – team representatives impressed the jury with prepared jokes. «Biathlon» exploded with a rain of «jokes» of varying quality. The judges couldn’t make up their minds for a long time, but in the end, they gave the decisive points to the «Team ETF» and «Thoughts Out Loud» teams.

The time has come for the most interesting stage. The teams prepared their own voice options for the episodes of the movie «Macho and Nerd». «Knights of humor» proudly took maximum points for a truly original approach to the task.

The summing up was marked by the fact that the counting committee calculated the average scores of the teams. You don’t need to be Omar Khayyam to state the obvious: «Knights of Humor» are the winners of this semi-final. Also in the final we will see the teams «Transformers», «Thoughts Out Loud» and «Team ETF».
