Supporting good initiatives
On March 29, a meeting of students with the charity fund «Happy Child» took place at Zaporizhzhia National Technical University. The event was held with the support of the social protection commission of the trade union committee of students of ZNTU under the slogan «Charity in the funk style», that is, in a rather free and relaxed manner, the heads of the fund Mykola Kolodyazhny and Roman Kirchenko presented their activities to us.
The charity fund «Happy Child» is looking for interesting and completely unpredictable ways to help those in need: from a bike ride under the March snowfall to climbing Hoverla. All this not only challenges society, but also draws considerable attention to the work of the fund. Such actions are the merit of volunteers. It was in the search for enthusiasts that we were approached at the meeting. So, if you want to do good deeds that millions will learn about – volunteering is a suitable choice!
The meeting was also useful because we learned how charity works in Zaporizhzhia, and also received answers to the most pressing questions in the field of good deeds, because we had the opportunity to ask them personally.
