Results of the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Programming Olympiad
On September 15, 2018, the II stage of the All-Ukrainian Programming Olympiad or the quarter-finals of the ACM-ICPC International Student Programming Olympiad in the Southern region took place at the Admiral Makarov National Shipbuilding University (Mykolaiv). The top teams of the leading institutions of higher education in the south of Ukraine (ONPU, ONU, ONAPT, ZNTU, ZNU, ZDIA, BDPU, MDPU, NUK, KhNU and others) competed.
ZNTU was represented by the following teams: ZNTU_Kappatalize in an updated composition (Yugen Tverdokhlib, Varvara Khokhlova, Andriy Shynkarev, Maksym Mishchenko) ZNTU_CoRe (Valerii Kozlov, Oleksandr Berezhny, Volodymyr Sudakov), ZNTU_Pro100Team (Yevhen Padalkin, Denys Pulyaev, Oleksandr Korotky), ZNTU_JustMagiC++ (Ihor Kornienko, Stanislav Zinovꞌev, Yurii Lukashenko).
The ZNTU_Kappatalize team won the right to represent ZNTU in the Ukrainian finals of the higher league or the Southeast European semi-finals of the ACM World Student Programming Championship, taking the 7th absolute place among 50 teams from the South of Ukraine.
