Training and attestation of persons who intend to carry out energy efficiency certification activities and survey of engineering systems
Since September 2018, ZNTU has started conducting professional training and attestation of persons who intend to carry out energy efficiency certification and inspection of engineering systems.
Professional training and certification of specialists who intend to carry out activities related to energy efficiency certification of buildings and inspection of engineering systems is carried out on the basis of ZNTU in accordance with Article 9 of the Law of Ukraine «On Energy Efficiency of Buildings», Resolution of the CMU of July 26, 2018 No. 605 «Procedure for conducting professional certification of persons who intend to carry out activities related to energy efficiency certification and inspection of engineering systems» (further «Procedure of attestation») and the Agreement between the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving and the Zaporizhzhia National Technical University «On cooperation on the creation of attestation commissions that will carry out energy efficiency certification and engineering systems inspection».
By order of the rector of ZNTU No. 193 in August 2018, an attestation commission was created to carry out professional attestation of persons who intend to carry out energy efficiency certification and inspection of engineering systems of buildings, and its personnel was approved.
According to clause 11 of the Attestation Procedure, to ensure the necessary competences of ZNTU, educational and professional programs «Certification of energy efficiency of buildings», «Inspection of engineering systems of buildings» and «Energy efficiency of buildings and structures» have been prepared within the framework of specialty 192 «Construction and civil engineering».
The purpose of this professional training is to provide students with the necessary professional knowledge of energy conservation and environmental protection in the design and thermal modernization of buildings based on a comprehensive approach to the analysis of volumetric planning, structural and engineering solutions, mastering the technologies of conducting energy certification of designed and energy audits of existing buildings, with the development of economically feasible means of increasing their energy efficiency.
Educational and professional training programs provide for comprehensive training of specialists who intend to carry out activities related to energy efficiency certification and inspection of engineering systems and, depending on the scope of the educational and professional program, includes 4-8 meaningful modules. According to the results of the training, a certificate of professional development of ZNTU is issued.
According to clause 3. According to the procedure of attestation, a person who intends to undergo professional attestation (hereinafter referred to as a candidate) submits an application to the attestation commission for conducting professional attestation in the field of ensuring energy efficiency and surveying engineering systems of buildings (hereinafter referred to as an application) using the form.
The following are attached to the application:
– copies of the passport and the registration number of the taxpayer’s registration card (except for individuals who, due to their religious beliefs, refuse to have the registration number of the taxpayer’s registration card and have notified the relevant supervisory authority about it and have a corresponding mark in the passport);
– a copy of the document on the professional (relevant) higher education (diploma and its appendix);
– a copy of the employment book;
– a concise report on the professional activity and other achievements of the candidate in an arbitrary form;
– other documents (at the request of the candidate) confirming his professional specialization, level of qualifications and knowledge (in particular, state awards, titles, diplomas of competitions in the field of energy efficiency of buildings, documents on scientific achievements, feedback from customers of works in the field of energy efficiency of buildings).
Attestation takes place after the attestation commission accepts the documents from the candidate within five days.
