The first victories of ZNTU students at the All-Ukrainian competitions of student scientific works in 2014
According to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1281 dated September 9, 2013 «On holding the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in natural sciences, engineering and humanities 2013/2014 academic year», in March-April 2014, the basic universities of Ukraine hold final conferences of the competitions. Each student-winner of the first stage of the competition had the opportunity to send the results of their scientific research to the basic university in the form of a scientific work. Every year, basic universities gather representatives of the student body and the scientific community from many regions, because the reports of conference participants are interesting and arouse lively interest among listeners during discussions. The speeches are accompanied by graphic materials and computer presentations, which improves the perception of the material. The main provisions of the best competitive works are recommended for implementation in practical activities, as well as in the educational process.
On March 13-14, 2014, the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the field of «Welding» was held at the Ternopil National Technical University named after I. Pulyuy. The authors of the best works were invited to the final conference of the competition, among which were students of the IF-310 group Denys Voronin and Anatoliy Busov (scientific supervisor of both students – Oleh Grigorovich Bykovsky, professor of the Department of OTZV). Denys prepared a report on the topic of the work «Temperature and structure of particles during plasma spraying with a current-carrying wire» and was awarded a Diploma. Anatoliy made a report «The influence of the state of the surface of a solid on the characteristics of its wetting by the melt» and according to the results of the competition committee was awarded the Diploma of the 2nd degree of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the field of «Welding».
On March 14, 2014, the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition for student research papers in the specialty «Economics of Transport and Communications» was held at the Kharkiv National Automobile and Road University. This year, 92 students from 25 universities of Ukraine sent 80 scientific papers to the competition. Among the candidates for the winner who were invited to the final conference, ZNTU student Inna Koreyba (MTU-210) spoke with the paper «Formation of the general education and qualification level of the labor potential of Ukraine» (scientific supervisor – Denys Viktorovych Vasylychev, associate professor of the Department of UPiEP), which considered: the theoretical essence of the formation of the educational level of the labor potential; an analysis of the educational development of specialists in the field of transport and communications of Ukraine was carried out; ways of increasing the educational level of the labor potential of future specialists in the field of transport and communications of Ukraine are proposed. For her successful report, Inna was awarded a Diploma of the III degree of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty «Economics of Transport and Communications».
March 14-15, 2014 at the East European National University named after In Lesya Ukrainka (Lutsk), the II stage of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the field of «Legal Sciences» took place. The authors of the best works were invited to the final conference of the competition, among whom were two students of ZNTU: Tetyana Nikitina (from GP-110) and Vladyslav Kvitko (from GP-112). Tetyana prepared a report on the topic of the scientific work «Criminal-legal characteristics of violation of the secrecy of correspondence, telephone conversations, telegraphic or other correspondence transmitted by means of communication or through a computer» (scientific supervisor – Dmytro Serhiyovych Shiyan, associate professor of the Department of «Legal Studies») and was awarded a Letter of Appreciation. Vladyslav gave a speech on the topic «Responsibility for non-fulfilment of duties to care for a child or a person for whom guardianship or guardianship has been established» (scientific supervisor – Yurii Volodymyrovych Filey, head of the «Legal Studies» department). For a thorough and logical report, the jury of the competition awarded Vladyslav III degree diploma of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works in the field of «Legal Sciences».
