Winning spirit

Athletes who defend the honor of the country, city, club, university, school have a very heavy burden of responsibility. They not only show themselves, their abilities, willpower in the fight against their whims and training, but also the achievements of their mentors, who invested their experience and strength. Therefore, the support of loved ones is very important for an athlete, and even more so when there is a support group – fans. They are a very important part of each competition, because they give a thirst for victory, that is, instill a winning spirit.

Our university, ZNTU, often holds various sports competitions, since we have a lot of professional teachers in various sports and talented students who want to develop in different directions.

Handball competitions of the teams «ZNTU-ZAS» (Zaporizhzhia) — «ZTR-SDYUSHOR» (Zaporizhzhia) was held on October 2 at the Palace of Sports «ZAS». It was the 3rd round of the super league. The «ZNTU-ZAS» team won a magical victory with a score of 27:24. Our athletes tried not to let down «Mashynka», to show good preparation, and they succeeded.

The team players, coaches – well done, they proved that they can give their all and demonstrate a satisfactory result and above. But, we must separately highlight the FAN CLUB of the GC «ZNTU-ZAS». I saw with my own eyes how one can and should cheer for one’s own. The main person of the fan club at the trade union committee of students of ZNTU Andriy Pashchenko. He is the head of the club, but you can’t say that, because in the fan club Andriy remains on a par with others, however, when necessary, a leader wakes up in him, and this, I believe, is the right position.

Our fan club – is a nugget of ZNTU, a united, friendly, optimistic team that inspires our athletes to conquer heights. The third round of the handball super league passed «with a bang», for this we must say a big thank you to Andriy Pashchenko, all the fans, spectators, and, of course, the team and coaches!
