Peculiarities of employment of orphan graduates in 2015
On March 18, 2015, the training «Peculiarities of employment of graduates from the number of orphans in 2015» was held, organized by the Center for Promoting the Employment of Students and Graduates and the Trade Union Committee of Students, Postgraduates and Doctoral Students of ZNTU with the aim of increasing professional competitiveness, the level of knowledge of labor legislation, developing self-presentation skills, and understanding the participants’ own professional self-concept.
The program of the event included two informative and practical blocks:
- registration for the first workplace;
- practical aspects of successful employment.
14 students – future graduates of 2015 from the number of orphans – took part in the training.
Coaches Anastasiia Kulchytska and Svitlana Olefir familiarized the participants with the sources of job search, the stages of employment, the features of applying for the first job of graduates of privileged categories and receiving financial aid in connection with employment, practiced practical skills of writing a resume, cover letter, passing an interview, all students received handouts with methodical recommendations on the preparation of employment documents. It should be noted the significant interest of the participants in this topic, as evidenced by their activity during group work and a large number of questions to the trainers.
