Well, is it possible to live without laughter?
Finally! On October 13, 2017 at 18:00 in the assembly hall of ZNTU, a long-awaited event took place – the opening of the festival of the KVN Closed League for the Rector’s Cup of ZNTU 2017. I assure you, all the tickets were sold out in advance, because not only team members were waiting for this day. The presenter of this wonderful evening – Yurii Murashkovskii, addressing the packed hall, introduced 9 teams from different faculties of our university. The following teams are participating in the Rector’s Cup 2017: «Tutty» (FRET), «Team ETF and Poleshko» (ETF), «KhND» (FMTU), «Pyatnitsa» (MF), «SALO» (TF), «Bounty» (IF), «Dove» (FSN), «Outlaw» (YF), «Team EGI». Having introduced the honorary jury of the festival, Andrii Ivanchenko, the head of the trade union committee of students of ZNTU, took the stage, who had the opportunity to officially open the Humor Festival in «Mashinka». After wishing success and good luck to the teams, the game began. Recalling the rules, the presenter noted that, as in the last season, on the way to the semi-finals, all teams will always play in order to score as many points as possible and get into the top four, which will make it to the finals. They also mentioned the newly introduced criterion – the audience sympathy prize.
As always, the game started with the first contest «Greetings», in which all teams showed off their prepared miniatures and jokes. It was really funny, and all the participants prepared well, which was appreciated by the jury, the audience, and the host. There was everything: dances, songs, and interesting miniatures! And how did our students look! Presentable costumes fully emphasized the images of the participants. For those who haven’t seen it, we assure you: you’re missing out on a lot, you’ve never seen anything like this before!
The next competition is «Warm Up», in which, as always, the jury members asked questions on free topics to the participants. The teams had to answer as funny as possible, for which they received points. The participants demonstrated ingenuity and a sharp mind.
The summing up was marked by the fact that the counting committee calculated the average scores of the teams. Thus: the leader of these two competitions became the team «Salo» (TF) (10.8). They are followed by «Pyatnitsa» (MT) (8.6). The third place was won by Sbornaya ETF and Poleshko (8.0). «Sbornaya EGI» and «Bounty» (IF) split one place into two, with the same number of points (7.8). The guys from «Tutta» got 7.2 points, FSN – 6.6. Newcomers «Outlaw» (YF) – 6.2., girls from the newly created team «KHND» (FMTU) – 6.0.
But you should not be upset, because all the teams have moved on to the next stage, which will take place on December 8. We invite everyone to support their and other faculties!
