New Year’s Eve in the circle of a student family

New Year is one of the most anticipated holidays. Everyone believes that on New Year’s Eve all wishes come true and a miracle will happen. Many people love winter precisely because of this holiday. For students, the approach of the New Year holidays means not only gifts, the smell of tangerines and a Christmas tree, snow and a festive mood, but also the approach of the most important event of the semester – the session. That is why it is important not to succumb to sadness and despair, but to support the New Year’s mood. Students of the ZNTU College of Humanities coped with this task simply "with a bang" – on December 18, a holiday dedicated to St. Mykola Day and the New Year was held within the walls of the college.

As you know, the College of Humanities is young and small. There were very few students in the festive hall, but this, on the contrary, contributed to the creation of a warm and family atmosphere at the holiday. The ideological inspirer of the holiday – the head of the college student union Zhenya Voskanyan – organized various fun contests and sweet gifts for the participants. Also, the college director Prykhodko Yevgeniya Teodorivna congratulated the students on St. Mykola Day and the New Year and wished health, goodness and success to all those present. The main guests of the holiday – Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden – maintained the festive atmosphere, encouraged students to participate in various competitions and awarded the winners with sweet incentives.

The purpose of this very warm and cheerful event was to distract students from the busy session and sincerely congratulate them on the New Year holidays, because the New Year is a great occasion to say goodbye to the past year, forget grievances, leave problems behind and with new ideas, strength, thoughts to enter the threshold of the new year, expecting new sensations and emotions from it. We hope that this small family holiday, organized by the trade union committee of students, graduate students and doctoral students of ZNTU in the person of Zhenya Voskanyan, left a warm imprint in the hearts of college students and will be remembered for a long time.
